To begin, my partner and I decided to make a survey on phobias because we though that younger person age 18-30 had less knowledge on phobias.A person can only be diagnosed of phobia if his fear is unreasonable and persistent, even if the object of his fear is not around.A phobia is a really complex mental illness and we cannot blithely say that we have one. However, my partner and I choose for our thesis statement that younger people had less basic and also general knowledge on psychological oiliness such has phobias. In order to prove that our statement was true we created two groups of people. The first group contained people aged 18 to 30, and the second one people aged 30 and over. We based our criteria on ages and both of our respondents were either males or females. We though that age was one of the most important factor of knowledge.
Even though There are others important factors the age seemed to be the best options for us, the age factor makes ans important distinction.
In second, our result was quite a schock, we seriously underestimated the first group, people age 18to 30. My partner and I created questions that were very understandable for both groups. The first question was <
In third, my partner and I have underestimated group number one , people age 18 to 30, we though that they did not have a lot of knowledge on phobias. When we written our thesis statement, we had in mind that phobias was to stereotyped and misunderstood. It is true that we all have fears however a person with phobia becomes extremely anxious when he is placed affront of the object of is fear and even when he is not placed affront of it. For instance , my partner and I knew already a lot on phobias and psychological illnesses. We both knew the particular characteristic of a person with phobias and the factors. In the survey, most of the possible answers were true. A phobia can be caused by internal and external events such as a trauma, heredity and genetics factors. People with phobias can also be cured by association techniques and many others treatment involve medication. So every possible answer were true even though we modified the answer in order to get a more affective and precise result. Somehow, younger people did have enough of basic knowledge on phobia and psychological illnesses. For many reasons , younger people have and easy access to documentation and information. Internet which is the easiest way to access and collect information's all around the world , must be the biggest factor in this accessibility. Although the responses from group number two was the one we expected, our thesis was mislead. We should have not only considered the age factor, we should have also considered the technical evolution factor.
In conclusion, The reason why we decided that phobia would be our topic presentation, was that my partner and I had a lot of knowledge on phobias.Overall, we though that phobia was a misunderstood psychological illness among the younger people.Well , phobia is a misunderstood psychological illness because many people blithely talk about common phobias. However our thesis was mislead because we took the age factor to base our thesis statement.Obviously we considered only one main aspect in our survey, we should have considered the technical evolution and also the Internet factor. Internet is very useful, it is a very fast way to access documentation on almost everything. Some people were born while Internet was being widespread. Our respondents in group number one were mostly young people born with Internet in their houses, and they access to it almost every day.We should have consider the technical evolution factor to place our decision and to base our thesis.

There are many psychological illnesses diagnosed every year among (18) the north Americans population. Phobia is one of the most complex and common mental problem (14) among the others. (23) A phobia is an intense, an (17) irrational and also a persistent fear of something. This psychological illness has been stereotyped and it is commonly (18) misunderstood. People generally say that they have a phobia without really knowing what it is. So my partner and have (23) decided to talk about phobia (14) as a psychological illness (23). In the following text you will read about (18, 23) what is a phobia; its characteristics, our method, our results and our final comments. (23)
To begin, my partner and I decided to make (18) a survey on phobias because we though that younger person (18) age 18-30 had less knowledge on (15) phobias. A person can only be diagnosed of (18, 23) phobia if his (15) fear is unreasonable and persistent, even if the object of his (15) fear is not around (18). A phobia is a really complex mental illness and we cannot blithely (18) say that we have one. (23) However, my partner and I choose (18) for our thesis statement (17) that younger people had (11) less basic and (18) also (17) general knowledge on (18) psychological oiliness (22) such has phobias. In order to prove that our statement was true we created two groups of people. The first group contained people aged 18 to 30, and the second one people aged 30 and over. We based our criteria on ages (14) and (18) both of our respondents were (18, 16) either males (14) or females (14). We though (22) that age was one of the most important factor (14) of knowledge.(23)
Even though There (25) are (11) others (14) important factors the (17) age seemed to be the best options (14) for us, the age factor makes ans important distinction.(23)
In second, (23) our result was quite a schock, (22) we seriously underestimated the first group, people age (17) 18 to 30. My partner and I created questions that were very understandable (18, 23) for both groups. The first question was <>. 50% of the respondents answered that a phobia was a mental illness and that it could be treated by (18) medication. That answer was the one we less (11) expected of (18) them but it is (11) the (18) good answer. An other (22) 25% answered that phobia (14) could be transmitted by (18) heredity (23) which is totally true. So in order to raise the challenge, (23) we created question on phobia's treatment. (23, 18, 19) Question number 5 was a multiple choice question on (18) a man who had a phobia about (18) dog (14). We placed (18) 4 statements that our respondents could used and 100% of all our respondent (14) in this (15) group choose (22) the same answer. They all choose (22) answer number 3, which was to start gradually (19) by showing the picture of a dog than (22) a real dog, in order to cure a person. (23) This treatment use (10) association techniques and is (22) were (11) effective, it was also the answer that we wanted to collect. (23) Moreover, the results of the second group was (11) not surprising at all, we collected the answer (14) that we anticipated. For the same questions, in question number 1 75% of all respondent (14) answered that phobias was (11) caused by a disfonctionment (22) in the brain. An other (22) 25% answered that phobia (14) was (11) caused by heredity. (23) And (9) for question number 5, 50% choose (11) that the best option to cure a man who had a phobia about (18) dogs have (11) chosen answer number 4. (23) This possible (17) answer suggest (10) that the person with a phobia should face his fear until he defeats it. (23) And (9) the other 50% have (11) chosen answer number 3 , the same answer that the first group took.(18)
In third, (18) my partner and I have (11) underestimated group number one , people age (17) 18 to 30, we though (22) that they did not have a lot of knowledge on (18) phobias. When we written (11) our thesis statement, we had in mind that phobias was (11) to stereotyped and misunderstood. (23) It is true that we all have fears however a person with phobia (14) becomes extremely anxious when he (15) is (11) placed affront (22) of the object of (18) is (18) fear and even when he (18) is (11) not placed affront (18) of it. (23) For instance, my partner and I knew already (19) a lot on (18) phobias and psychological illnesses. We both knew the particular characteristic of a person with phobias and the factors. (17) In the survey, most of the possible answers were true. A phobia can be caused by internal and external events such as a trauma, heredity and genetics factors. People with phobias can also be cured by (18) association techniques and many others (14) treatment (14) involve medication. So every possible answer were (11) true even though we modified the answer (14) in order to get a more affective and precise result. Somehow, younger people did (17) have (11) enough of (17) basic knowledge on phobia (14) and psychological illnesses. For many reasons, (23) younger people have and (17) easy (18) access to documentation (18) and information. Internet (23) which is the easiest way to access and collect information's (22) all around the world, (23) must be the biggest factor in this accessibility. (23) Although the responses from group number two was (11) the one (14) we expected, our thesis was mislead. (23, 18) We should have not only considered the (17) age factor (17), we should have also considered the technical evolution factor. (23)
In conclusion, The reason why we decided that phobia (14) would be our topic (23, 19) presentation, was that my partner and I had a lot of knowledge on (18) phobias. Overall, we though that phobia (14) was (11) a (17) misunderstood psychological illness (17) among the (17) younger people. Well, phobia is a misunderstood psychological illness because many people blithely talk about common phobias. (17) However our thesis was mislead (23) because we took the age factor to base our thesis statement. (17) Obviously we considered only one main aspect in our survey, we should have considered the technical evolution and also the Internet factor.
